FAQ
Is Insights Discovery the same as MBTI?▾
No. Both tools draw on Carl Jung's theory of psychological type, but they are different products with different outputs. Insights Discovery uses four colour energies plotted on a 72-position wheel; MBTI® places you in one of 16 four-letter types.
Which is better, Insights Discovery or MBTI?▾
Neither is universally better. Insights tends to work better when you want a shared visual language a team can use day-to-day. MBTI tends to be richer when the focus is deep individual self-awareness or career exploration.
Can I convert my MBTI type into an Insights colour?▾
Loosely. The two systems share Jungian roots, so there are approximate mappings — but you should not assume one report tells you exactly what the other would. The most reliable answer is to complete the Insights Evaluator directly.
