    Core Understanding

    Your Colour Energy Mix

Insights Discovery® uses four colour energies based on the psychology of Carl Jung. Everyone has all four — but in a different order of intensity. The higher a colour appears in your graph, the more naturally you use that energy.

    🪞 Pause & Reflect

    • → Where do you see your dominant energy this week?

    Preference Flow

The Preference Flow shows the effort you make shifting from your Less Conscious self to your Conscious self.

Upward arrow — you increase this energy in public
Downward arrow — you reduce this energy in public
Flat line — this energy stays the same

If the arrows are small (1–60%), the shift is natural and easy.

If any arrow is above 60%, you are making a significant effort to adapt — which can be tiring over time.

    🪞 Pause & Reflect

    • → When do you adapt the most in your day-to-day work?

    The 72-Type Wheel

The wheel places you in one of 72 unique positions based on how many colours are above the midline and in what order.

The Insights Discovery® 72 Type Wheel

    Focused

1 colour above the line — outer ring

    Classic

2 colours above the line — middle ring (most common)

    Adaptive

3 colours above the line — inner ring

The numbers on the wheel are reference points for certified practitioners — you don't need to interpret them.

    🪞 Pause & Reflect

    • → What surprised you about your colour mix?
    • → Where do you see this pattern in your daily behaviour?

    When the Graphs Differ

    Conscious Persona

    Less Conscious Persona

    —

Small difference = consistency — you show up similarly in all contexts.

    —

Large difference = strong adaptation — you flex significantly to meet expectations.

    —

Strong adaptation = flexibility + potential fatigue — especially under sustained pressure.

    Sustainable performance requires balance.

    Opposite Colour Energies

Each colour has a natural opposite. When both are developed, you combine structure with energy, empathy with drive, analysis with influence.

    ↔

    Cool Blue ↔ Sunshine Yellow

Detail and accuracy meet enthusiasm and persuasion.

    ↔

    Earth Green ↔ Fiery Red

Support and harmony meet decisiveness and results.

    🪞 Pause & Reflect

    • → Which of these energies do you rely on most?
    • → Which opposite energy would strengthen your impact?
    • → Which opposite energy would strengthen your impact right now?
